summer florals: style your floral dress!

Florals for summer
Hey loves!!

Thank you for dropping by the blog. Hope you are enjoying summer and the bright colors it offers. Summer reminds me of flower patterns, blossoms and mesmerising colors! I feel it’s time to embrace colors and hug the brighter hues. That’s what I did for this outfit.
Today’s look features a chic floral dress and how I styled it.
I was always reluctant to wear a floral dress as I thought it would not suit me. But hey! I was wrong! Completely wrong!! I felt It makes me look gorgeous.
I think you can tell by looking at the pictures how much I’ve been loving this outfit. Do you think its love love?
I opted for this dark floral dress and thought it would be a great investment in summer outfits. Notice the super cute tie-up on the sleeves of the dress.
I’m a no-accessories or minimal-accessories- kind of a person so I just wore black strappy heels to go well with the dress. You can also wear nude sandals/flats or also can style it with white canvas shoes. I like the fact that any type of shoes can look good with a floral dress, but in some lighter hues.
You can pair it with black shoes if you want to create something in monochrome colour scheme. But I feel anything in nude colours would be a perfect match with the dress.
I wanted to have that girly kind of look for this outfit and I opted for pastel handbag. This outfit is perfect for dinner date night with your loved ones or with your girlfriends. I bought this pink pastel bag from Dressberry and I’m loving the pastel shade. Pastels are so much in vogue today and this trend is surely here to stay. Who doesn’t love pastels? The pastels are so pleasing, isn’t it?

And remember pastels can never go wrong with Dark florals, it’s a great combo! If you want to invest in something for summer outfit than it has to be a floral dress, if you ask me. Dark florals are in vogue right now. You too can sport this look and try it out- simple key to this look is- dark florals with a mixture of pastels and monochrome balanced to get the best of the outfit. , a You can even accesorise this further by adding a head scarf/ head band to add edge to the look.
I love how this photoshoot turned out, a big shout-out to my dad(he’s a professional photographer, by the way) who showed patience to make the best pictures for me. We chose this location- my village- Parra. Yes, I stay at Parra but never took any pictures here! So I grabbed this opportunity of working with dad and the beauty essence of Parra roads and coconut trees can be seen in the pics.

I’m sure you guys loved the pictures and the blog as well! Do let me know what you feel about this look in the comments below!!
Some random thoughts:
I felt like I should adopt to changing my style a bit and focus more on styling, I really want to do this as I don’t want to feel stagnated. I want to focus on better styling, start embracing the accessories and break the monotony that I’m going to keep it simple. It should be simple yet beautiful. I hope you’re feeling me! Haha, I hope its not deep!! (laughs)
I’m loving the transition, I’m loving every bit of it. Each time I come up with something new, it excites me as I think how you guys are going to like it. I want to give you guys the best of what I love doing! And trust me I’ve started to put more efforts in designing my blog, editing pictures and taking time for doing each thing better. So the best is yet to come… ߘ￙ou can share your #summer18 pictures with us on Instagram by simply tagging me in the pictures
